A while ago I came across a program called bins that appeared to fill my desire to group pinned icons in my taskbar.

Unfortunately, Windows 10 had just been out and there was no support for it. I decided to buy it anyway and give it a shot.
Despite installing ok, the program was not acting as I was hoping, so I removed it and totally forgot about it until today.

So I found my old license and installed it again now that it has windows 10 support and hooray! Works perfectly.

The only catch is that it will only work on your primary screen.. 🙁
It would be nice if this was built in natively to windows, but with higher resolutions and ultrawide monitors I think it’s less useful.
On a laptop, however, it makes perfect sense with limited real estate.
